PROFILE:

• CAMBER: ALPINE V4 – the ALPINE V4 profile features a higher, traditional camber in the mid-section of the board, combined with smooth, low tip and tail heights. Slightly raised contact points together with large-radius tip and tail shapes allow The Matriarch to flex like a freestyle machine while floating like a powder board.

• SHAPE: DIRECTIONAL 0.8” SETBACK – a directional shape with a slight 0.8" setback – the nose is longer than the tail, improving high-speed stability and making powder riding easier.
• CORE: NEW! TRANSCEND CORE™ – A completely new core in the CAPiTA collection. Ultra-light, made from a combination of lightweight paulownia and robust poplar. Reinforced along its entire length with Bamboo Power Beams™, providing maximum power and responsiveness.

• FIBERGLASS: HYBRID HOLYSHEET™ TRI/TRI SUPERCARBON™ – The newest fiberglass construction in the CAPiTA MFG factory. Wide SUPERCARBON™ carbon strips are woven directly into the triaxial fiberglass. This reduces weight and allows more precise fiber alignment. Triax fiberglass layers on both sides of the core offer better vibration absorption and energy transfer to the edges.
• RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN – Capita uses an eco-friendly resin for all boards, produced with zero waste and zero greenhouse emissions. It provides high performance while requiring less heat in production, reducing energy consumption. This allows for a lighter core without compromising board durability — making CAPiTA boards some of the lightest on the market!
• SINTERED BASE: HYPERDRIVE™ ADV XT BASE™ – a unique formula created exclusively for CAPiTA’s Mothership factory. Developed with a leading polyethylene supplier, this base offers exceptional glide due to its extremely high molecular weight and special additives. This sintered material has a patented composition, is incredibly fast, and this year it is also thicker for increased durability. CAPiTA riders ride hard, so they use the most advanced and fastest base available.
• TOPSHEET LAMINATION: PLT™ – PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and fuses the topsheet onto the pressed snowboard without using traditional glue, heat, and pressure. This prevents fiberglass texture from showing through the topsheet, unlike in traditional methods. Other brands compensate with heavy, toxic lacquer layers. PLT™ produces a lightweight, smooth, glossy finish without harmful chemicals. Combined with digital printing and screen printing, it creates a multi-layered, premium graphic.
• SIDECUT: BLENDED RADIAL – an advanced design combining classic radial sidecuts with modern blended transition zones near the contact points. The middle section offers stability and predictability, while the blended zones allow smooth transitions and better adaptability to various riding styles and conditions. Benefits: improved control, greater versatility, and smoother turn initiation.
• EDGES: 360 degree HRC48 steel edges.
• SIDEWALL: full ABS1000 protected sidewalls.
• INSERTS: stainless steel 4x2 inserts.

EXTRAS:

• 2 x 20 mm FAIRMAT™ CARBON AMPLIFIERS – recycled carbon from the aerospace industry. These 20 mm inserts are as stiff as traditional 30 mm carbon inserts while maintaining strength and power.
