The FORMULA model offers exceptional control expected by advanced skiers, along with outstanding fit and all-day comfort. The boot features thermoformable PERFECT FIT inserts, which perfectly adapt to the skier's unique foot shape.

Equipped with innovative features like adjustable flex, HEAD FORMULA provides the ability to adjust the boot’s stiffness to the skier's preference and skill level. For size 26.0/26.5, the boots have a 100 mm width, ideal for skiers with a standard foot width. FORMULA will provide exceptional comfort to enjoy every moment on the slopes.

TECHNOLOGIES AND CONSTRUCTION FEATURES IN HEAD FORMULA 85 W

  • PERFECT FIT 3D CUSTOM: The Perfect Fit 3D thermoformable technology allows full customization of the inner boot to match the skier’s unique foot characteristics. In the FORMULA model, the inner liner can be heated to enhance comfort and provide precise fitting. The 3D construction includes flexible zones around the ankle and calf for optimal thermal comfort throughout the day. Fitting of the liner is done in a specialized HEAD oven at a specific temperature and time.
  • FORM FIT: FORM FIT technology allows the shell of the ski boot to be heated and expanded in areas of excessive pressure, enabling custom fitting. This durable customization feature enhances balance, comfort, and control on the slopes. The inner boot can be molded in a specialized HEAD oven, and boot fitting services are recommended at ski service centers.
  • RACE BALANCE: The HEAD FORMULA’s sporty profile, called Race Balance, has a 16-degree cuff angle and a 4-degree ramp angle in the sole. This alignment enables a more aggressive, sporty ski stance, enhancing control and precision in ski handling.
  • PRIMALOFT: Primaloft®, a synthetic insulation material placed inside the boot, provides warmth, dryness, and comfort throughout the day. This material is moisture-resistant, ensuring the boots retain their thermal properties under all conditions.
  • FLEX TUNING: The HEAD FORMULA 85 W features a flex adjustment range of 85-95, thanks to a screw mechanism located in the vertical axis at the back of the cuff. This allows for fine-tuning the boot’s stiffness, making it suitable for the skier's skill level and preference.
