LRM - the first step into the world of two wheels PUKY

No other vehicles have caused as much sensation in recent years as balance bikes. The PUKY LR M is the ideal starting point for children aged 2 years and up. No other vehicle offers more joy. The LRM has a great effect on the musculoskeletal system and develops a sense of balance. The 8-inch soft tire is completely maintenance-free, provides good grip, and is quiet. The handlebar grips protect children's delicate hands and secure the ends of the handlebars. The banana-shaped saddle raised at the front ensures that the push-off force is transferred to the vehicle and the child does not slide off the saddle. The low frame provides safe getting on and off. Thanks to the large footrest, the rider can comfortably place their feet while descending. This keeps the center of gravity at the right height, ensuring safe riding even at higher speeds. We deliberately do not use a steering lock on our balance bikes. This means that during a fall, the handlebar lays flat on the ground, significantly reducing the risk of possible injuries. Available in colors: red, blue, and pink.

Balance Bike

Specially contoured saddle for balance bikes - Form follows function

The banana-shaped saddle has been specially designed for our balance bikes. It gives the child a secure seating position and supports the child's movements while pushing off. Since the push-off force is transmitted solely through the saddle, it was necessary to completely redesign the shape of the bicycle saddle to ensure the child's safety and good control of the vehicle.

Safe Grips - Safety under control

Safe and child-friendly, that's the essence of all PUKY vehicles. PUKY was the first manufacturer to use specially contoured handlebar grips that have protection against the child's hands slipping off. This way, the grips protect the child's hands during a fall or if the child hits the handlebar. The grips have good traction, and their diameter is suitable for children's hands, allowing for a secure grip.

Low step-through

The low step-through on our balance bikes makes it easier to get on and off the bike. The beginner rider receives maximum comfort and safety. The gained confidence in riding the bike reassures the child of their abilities. The time needed to learn to ride is shorter, and the joy of riding is even greater.

Large Footrest - Great fun with a large footrest!

Everyone can see how important a large footrest is by observing children riding. If the bike does not have a footrest, the child lifts their feet high off the ground. The center of gravity moves up, and the entire vehicle loses stability. But if the feet are placed on a low-mounted and centrally located footrest, the riding track remains stable. There is no doubt - children love to use the footrest while riding.

Handlebar Pad - Protection against impacts

No master has ever fallen from the sky, but every great cyclist has once fallen from their bike. So, just in case, to minimize the consequences of a fall, we equip our bikes with a large handlebar pad. This minimizes the impact on the handlebar. As usual with PUKY, the material and foam of the pad have, of course, been TÜV tested, GS certified, free from pollutants, UV resistant, and exceptionally resistant to abrasion.

To ensure good ergonomics and optimal use time of the bike, the handlebar and saddle post on our LRM bikes are adjustable over a very large range. This way, the vehicle constantly adapts to the growth of young riders.
