HEAD WORLDCUP REBELS E.SLR SLALOM SKIS WITH HEAD PR 11 BINDINGS AND GRIP WALK FOR THE 2023 SKI SEASON
The Head Rebels E.SLR is a slalom-oriented ski from the RACE SL - Slalom Carver group. The E.SLR model serves as an "easier" alternative to the higher-end models in the group (RACE WC REBELS SL). Due to its construction, it is slightly less stiff and more forgiving of errors during skiing. The Rebels are designed for short, deep slalom turns and are intended for skiing on groomed slopes, perfect for advanced or intermediate skiers looking to improve their skills.
The greatest advantage of the WC Rebels E.SLR is its excellent edge grip and remarkable stability. These skis ride as if on rails, unaffected by anything that might disrupt their intended path.
CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS IN HEAD WORLDCUP REBELS E.SLR SKIS
- WOODCORE – WORLDCUP SANDWICH CAP CONSTRUCTION: The Head Worldcup E.SLR features a wooden core (woodcore), which enhances control and provides more precise power transmission. Additionally, the WorldCup Sandwich construction features a vertically laminated wooden core, compressed by phenolic sidewalls and a double layer of Titanal. This construction, inspired by the World Cup, is considered one of the fastest ski designs.
- EMC FRONT (F) – ENERGY MANAGEMENT CIRCUIT: A simplified version of EMC F (FRONT) is placed in the front part of the skis. The Energy Management Circuit converts kinetic energy into electrical energy, which is then used to absorb negative vibrations. The electrical energy generated by the piezoelectric plate flows through a built-in closed circuit consisting of a resistor and a graphene-carbon layer. This system uses electrical energy to reduce negative vibrations, harmonizing the skis. Fewer vibrations result in more stable skis and better edge hold on snow. EMC provides additional stability and edge grip due to its strong integration with the slope.
- FULL SIDEWALL – SPORTY CHARACTER: The Head WC Rebels E.SLR benefits from a Full Sidewall, featuring fully hardened sidewalls along the entire length of the edge. This ensures precise turns and maneuverability, even at high speeds.
- REBEL CAMBER PROFILE: In the Rebels collection, Head eliminates the rocker profile entirely, positioning these skis as purely sporty models. The new Rebel camber profile, with 100% camber throughout the ski's length, guarantees incredible edge hold, even on icy slopes, providing dynamic rebound and acceleration when exiting turns. The camber profile gives an extraordinarily stable ride.
HEAD PR 11 BINDINGS WITH GRIP WALK
The Head Worldcup Rebels E.SLR comes with HEAD PR 11 bindings equipped with GRIP WALK, mounted on an additional rail plate under the bindings. The binding allows for manual adjustment of the setting to match the length of the ski boot shell, within a range of 259 - 382 mm. The release force (DIN) range is 3 - 11. The binding is compatible with all GRIP WALK boot soles as well as standard alpine ski soles.
SELECTING THE LENGTH OF HEAD WC REBELS E.SLR SKIS
We recommend selecting ski length based on height: for intermediate skiers, choose a length between chin and nose height (subtracting around 10-15 cm from skier height). For advanced recreational skiers, we recommend selecting a ski length at nose height (subtracting around 10 cm from skier height).
